A dream has became new reality. The School of Natural Wine is born.
Under the mentorship of Fabio Bartolomei of Vinos Ambiz and Carlos Rodriguez-Santamarta of Food Material, the pilot phase has begun! The official kick off is planned for 1Q 2023. The home of the School is located in Sierra de Gredos, a wonderful natural park in Castilla Leon. This is where a magical cellar, that’s been abandoned for 40 years, has been renewed to host the school. Currently, a first group of student winemakers are already working the pilot phase of the school, without even waiting for the official kick off.
Some vineyards of Grenache, Albillo, and Chelva have been harvested already by this first pilot promotion of the school. And their first wine is also in progress.
The program will be built in different modules which will make the realization of the course flexible and time smart.
