RAW Festival
After 2 years with no RAW Festival in Berlin, the Berlin wine aficionados and most of the global professionals were hungry and thirsty to meet old and new friends. With a limited representation of only 120 international winemakers, the atmosphere was as vibrating as expected.
10 producers from Food Material were very actively present: Clos Lentiscus, Esencia Rural, Vinos Ambiz, La Perdida, Celler Frisach, Celler La Salada / Mas Candi, Malaparte Wines, Vins Nus and Bodegas Cueva. With lots of interactions with both private and professional guests, we can proudly say that the Spanish natural wine space has it’s place in Berlin!
FLAMENCO
We had the honor of combining 10 premium winemakers of Food Material with one of the longest traditional flamenco families, Los Agujetas. The great dancer Beatriz Morales was supported by the guitar and vocals of Antonio Agujetas Chico and by the percussion of Carlitos Merino. They were accompanied by 10 of the greatest winemakers of the Spanish natural scene: Manel and Nuria Avinyo (Clos Lentiscus), Julia Ruiz (Esencia Rural), Fabio Bartolomei (Vinos Ambiz), Nacho Gonzalez (La Perdida), Francesc Ferrer (Celler Frisach). Anna Ferres (Celler La Salada), Ruben Salamanca (Malaparte Wines), Alfredo Arribas (Vins Nus), and a representation of Bodegas Cueva.
A unique show which brought lots of emotions to both guests and participants. To be repeated!
